In the ongoing Allina nursing strike the CEO tells us that the nurses need to sacrifice for the good of the hospital. This remains a common agenda for most Non-Profit Hospitals even as their administrators take home millions a year. Perhaps we should enact a law that would cap the salaries of anyone working at a non-profit hospital? I review my suggestions and the possible outcomes,including a lot more cash for patient care, if this was legislated.
